ISO 45001 is the first global Occupational Health and Safety Management System standard to replace OHSAS 18001. It will provide an opportunity to organizations around the globe to align their strategic direction with their health and safety management system thereby improving their occupational health and safety performance.
The ISO 45001 overview / leadership training course enables participants to comprehend the basic concepts of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). By attending this course, you will understand the importance of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System and the benefits that businesses, society and governments can obtain by implementing ISO 45001:2018.
The objective of this course is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to understand and implement an OHS Management System based on ISO 45001:2018. Gain a thorough understanding of the history and development of ISO 45001, key terms, definitions, and changes in OHS specific requirements from OHSAS 18001:2007 to ISO 45001:2018. You’ll learn to interpret and apply the key concepts and principles of the standard to existing processes within your organization.
The structure of ISO 45001 is based on Annex SL format and terminology. Annex SL was developed to ensure that all ISO management system standards share a common format.
